Sierra Nevada Gold Inc. is engaged in the exploration and acquisition of precious and base metal projects in the highly prospective mineral trends. It is exploring five 100%-controlled projects in Nevada, comprising four gold and silver projects and a large copper/gold porphyry project. Its projects include Blackhawk, Colorback, Warrior, New Pass, and Generative, located within the Excelsior Mountains of Mineral County, Nevada, approximately 40 minutes from the regional centre of Hawthorne. The Blackhawk Project consists of over 636 contiguous 20-acre claims covering 49 square kilometers (km2). The Colorback Project is in the northwest trending Battle Mountain Trend of central Nevada and is prospective for Carlin style gold deposits. The Warrior project is located within the Walker Lane Trend of southern Nevada. The New Pass Project is located approximately 40 km west of the regional centre of Austin, Nevada. It also owns an advanced Saudi Arabia copper-gold project.
